good but flawed...

Apt Pupil is actually a pretty decent movie. HOWEVER ... the kid is just seriously *****ed up and really shadows the same rage and hatred as the nazis did. I dont know if its intentional, but, it is pretty evident that the cycle keeps going from the old man to the kid because each one is SOMEWHAT good at heart but when enraged by someone or something, they turn EVIL.
The story was pretty decent overrall. But (spoiler) I honestly think that that little bastard should have gotten caught!! I think its really messed up how the old man dies but the kid gets away with everything he did along side him. I just really didnt like the end. |
