I saw this movie quite a while ago, when it first came out. Feh.. The second movie with this whole King and I plot this year(believe me.. don't ever rent that cartoon musical... it's horrible). Wow.. It was a major improvement and set a different impression.
The script gets a bit eye-rolling, but the actors are good, and the art direction is amazing, portraying everything magnificently. Pretty sad story, but I think it'd done a pretty good job without the musical (in which the cartoon "King and I" failed even with the songs)...
