The Best Sci fi horror movie I ever seen

The movie starts off with seven members of a spaceship crew called the Nostromo. Unexpectically, they are awakened by the robot called "Mother." The robot tells them they must investigate a distress call coming fron an unknown planet. When done talking about it the crew descides to go. After taking some damage on the ship, they let 3 members go explore the planet.
The 3 members go all the way to an alien spacecraft. The members decide to go in. When they get in they send one of the members named Kane into a cave. He sees a lot of eggs and gets to close to it. Then all of a sudden the alien in the egg jumps out and puts a nasty grip on Kanes face. The other 2 members rush him to the ship and puts him in the medical factory. Soon Kane is fine, but not for long.
The crew, seeing Kane is better, has lunch with him. Then Kane starts gagging and a snakelike alien pops out of his chest. This bloody, gruesome, sequence puts the crew in such shock the alien gets away. Now, a blood thirsty alien that increases in size and gets stonger every minute, is hunting down every member 1 by 1.
In my opinion, the visuals are outstanding and still hold up very well now a days. The horror of the alien is so well done throughout the movie because you hardly ever see it. And when you do see it, the alien scares the crap out of you.
The acting in this movie is truly some of the best you can see in a sci fi horror film. Sigourney Weaver is definetly one of the reasons that alien did so well. Her acting is perfect and can not be topped. Ridley Scott did a great job directing and I recommend you chect out his other movies like my favorite film Gladiator.
If you want to see a classic masterpiece that has great acting, and scary horror, I recommend seeing this movie. If you liked the movie Predator, I think you should see Alien also. |
