Most gags are cheap, the story gets dumb and dumber as the movie progresses, but strangely, the whole stuff works! A good soundtrack and a feel-good nightclub atmosphere helping, you find yourself loving the characters for their simplicity and cynical stupidity (a bit like in Dumb and Dumber, which to me is the best comedy ever).
A Night at the Roxbury became the movie that my friends and I enjoy watching almost every time just before we are going downtown for a night... |
