It was very different from the book of course, but I have to say it was quite well done. I collapsed in bittersweet tears towards the end. Eleanor Bron is a pretty good little actress.
To inform you folks, this movie is about a girl who had a rich father. She went to boarding school under the head of a cruel and strict headmistress. When it was believed that her father had died and left her penniless, the young Sara Crewe had to become a servant. Although she struggled, she gradually realized she could still be a princess..like anyone else.
I recommend this film to all, especially to boys who seem insensitive to the evil world. This is a movie that would melt them completely. |
