I admit that the story is lacking but if you have seen the original Universal Soldier (expecaly if you watch it before you watch this one as I did) then it all makes sence. Van Damme is one of the best action stars ever and any WCW or WWE fan will get a kick out of Goldbergs multiple attempts to sepear Van Damme. There is some comidy in this one too... When Van Damme runs over Goldberg with a truck you see Goldberg unscrewing the lugnuts on the trucks wheel and he says "I Realy Hate That Guy" wich is priceless. Truthfully I think this is a great movie with a few flaws that can be overlooked, expecaly if you have seen the first Universal Soldier. All and all a great Friday or Saturday night film. |
