The Wizard of Oz is by far my all time favorite movie. I love it so much!!! I have 2 copies of the VHS, a copy of the DVD, a copy of the broadway soundtrack, and a copy of the soundtrack to the new musical "Wicked- the untold story of the witches of Oz" which is wonderful also. Judy Garland as Dorothy Gail is fantastic. There could never be another person like her again to do that part so magnificently. She kicks butt!! Ray Bolger (scarecrow), Jack Haley (tinman), and Bert Lahr (Lion) are also great. I love everything about this movie and everything to do with it. I think I would travel "over the rainbow" just to see it! |
