Rest assured, I am registering my delight on the internet within minutes :-) This movie combines deep philosophical ideas, cool technological / science fiction concepts and fast-paced action scenes all into one perfectly blended, believable script. I won't say too much about the plot, so as not to spoil it for you (if it hasn't been already), but suffice it to say that the ideas in it can make a person really think about the current state of society, or what we believe to be society. The first scene really makes a mark, and gives a really good idea of the kind of action to come later on in the movie. The best part would have to be the scene in the lobby of the government buildign where the entire thing is shot in slow motion as dozens of military guys blow the crap out of marble pillars, as they are picked off one by one by Neo and Trinity. |
