I remember the first time I saw The Matrix. It was obvious this was no ordinary motion picture! The Matrix is exceptionally brilliant in its concept,and truly a classic that is up there with Star Wars, Close Encounters of the Third Kind and Aliens. Keanu Reeves plays the part of Neo superbly. I cannot imagine any other actor in the part. Hugo Weaving is equally brilliant as Agent Smith! The bullet-time effects were revolutionary. The assault on the military controlled building was excellent with its battle scenes. The shoot-out in the lobby is something I could watch a million times! One of the most through provolking movies that can have you thinking for days about the "what ifs" should something like that actually happen. How would we know if we were in a matrix now, or in the real world? Truly fascinating, the matrix simply ROCKS! |
