Taking place in the fifties, after sputnik circled the world, A young boy finds himself a friend in a gigantic robot. This is a family film that does not talk down to it's audience. An intelligent story with some brilliant direction from Brad Bird( The Incredibles).
The voice work is top Notch, especially Harry Connick Jr. as The beatnick artist named Dean.
From beginning to end it is a perfect fantasy film. I am sure if I continue I will just start to repeat myself. Check this movie out. |
