the best animated movie I've seen

I don't usually like completely animated movies, but this one is deserving of the affection it gets. No wonder Cartoon Network did a 24 hour marathon of this movie. The story gets an A+ mostly because it suggests that sputnik is something more than we think (I didn't like the whole "Russia is the enemy" thing it implied however), and the fact that the robot had feelings that humans seem to think only they have. Hopefully this movie made some people realize that anything can have a personality and feelings. In all actuality, our intelligence isn't put at the top either, considering if we are stupid, yet consider ourselves the most intelligent species on the planet and judge other species from our point of view, of course we won't realize if they're smarter.
Got off topic there, the voice-acting was decent enough for an A. The direction was truly dramatic and great. The visuals I counted as the animation technique which was spectacular. Overall this is one of the best movies ever made. |
