Isn't the person who posted that review kind of an idiot? Here's a hint about horror movies: if you're laughing at it, it's NOT GOOD! I laughed through The Grudge as well and found it to be a terrible horror movie, despite a few positive things about it.
The Haunting has some effective elements, and it gets off to a good start. However, the story about Eleanor "protecting" the children is somewhat laughable (how it ends is just simply ridiculous), and the special effects were subpar. |
