A routine thriller with an unsurprising ending.

John Travolta headlines a solid cast in another standard thriller. Travolta is headed to investigate the shocking death of the General's daughter, he's assisted by Madeline Stowe-an underrated actress who steals this picture. Well, as mystery buffs will know the identity of the killer from the very beginning(I know I did.)So the ending came as no surprise to me, the location is good and even though their roles are limited, Timothy Hutton and James Cromwell do well in their respective parts. Travolta's accent is a bit overdone though but this is an okay film. |
