I expected that this movie would delve into intersting facts about the murders but that was not the case. This movie was more like Saturday Night Fever or Boogie Nights rather than a thriller. The setting and the atmosphere of the 70's is portrayed accurately but not much else is done right. On one side of the movie, the son of sam is killing people all of New York City. On the other side, an Italian American is trying to be faithful to his wife while living in the tense atmosphere the murder's create. The only bright spot in this movie is the acting of Adrian Brody. I would not recommend this film to anyone, it was very disappointing. |
