I came into this movie expecting nothing, I heard it was a bore and not that good at all. I came out thinking this is one of the best Star Trek movies made.
The acting is really good, and so is the story, the prime directive has always been at the heart of what Star Trek is, wish we could have it in real life now, but thats another movie.
Some people say where is the action, there is action, must remember most of the star trek francise is not based on 'Kill Foozle', its best on a story, and this is a good one. The action is nice complemete to the movie. If you want more action with no plot, see Star Trek X, what a waste that movie was sadly, I hope it was not the last of the movies.
In conclusion, if you like Star Trek for what it stands for, you will love this movie, the acting, story and effects are great. If you are not a fan but are interested, its a well done 'good vs evil' moral dilemma movie. And thats what Star Trek has always been about |
