Run Lola Run is so fast-paced, it will have you watching and wondering the entire 80 min. A young women, played by Franka Potente, must find 100,000 marks in 20 minutes for her Boyfriend Manni(Moritz Belibtreu)How will she find the money?? I shall not spoil it. In the short time of this movie(80 minutes), 3 different scenarios occur for Lola and Manni. Makes you think of how the small differences are effecting everyone around them, and it is so interesting to see the effects, and how they displayed it in the film.This is a great film that can be watched many times and still, you see new things that you have never noticed before. Franka Potente oes an amazing job, keeping the story even more alive. In my mind, this movie is giving off messages that are bold and yet beautiful. One example being what we would go through and do for people we really care for and love. This is strongly demenstrated in Run Lola Run. Another, What and who do our decisions really effect, and if we could change the way we did somthing, would we? This is a movie where you think, predict, change your mind, and love every second of it. |
