There are going to be many people who don't like or appreciate this film. Mainly because it harbors a plot device that includes witchcraft, thus giving snotty critics a reason to thumb their noses at it. Yes, this film is about witches, but it is mainly about love. This is a "chick flick" all the way; this film makes a great double feature with "The Witches of Eastwick". See it if you enjoy magical spells, sisterly love and rivalry, or if you simply enjoy rooting for someone who doesn't believe in love to actually find the love of her life. This is a charming fantasy, and a well acted one, as well. |
