Grand film (in my opinion), with some of the most memorable moment to ever grace the silver screen. Witty quotes, and cockney humour thrown together with a smashing plot. Definitely a diamond in the ruff, which was unfairly slated by critics. Robert Carlyle runs the show as a sharp highwayman with dreams of sailing to America. Jonny Lee Miller plays a drunkard, who has the looks of a noblemen, and decides to better himself, by joining Plunkett as a Highwayman, though eventually falls for the witty Miss Liv Tyler. 10/10! |
