One of my favorite movies. Jake Gyllenhall plays Homer Hickam a high school teen who wants to grow up and become a rocket scientist when he grows up. This movie was such a powerful, emotional movie. This is also Jake's best performance. Unlike October Sky, the other movies he had done like Donnie Darko, Day After Tommorow, and The Good Girl, most movies he made were not quite as good as October Sky. I really recommend this movie to the entire family. The best family film for everyone. Grade A+. |
