This was a "cute" movie. Hugh Grant was his usual sheep in wolf's clothing, but he and Julia Roberts actually had chemistry so it worked. The actor who played his slacker roommate is once again proof that good character actors can take a movie from "Okay" to "Memorable." Roberts is lovely, conflicted and charming. I didn't totally buy into the end, but it was a sweet thought, so I chose to go with it. Nice date movie if you're a serious couple or thinking about getting serious couple. |
