Riggs and Murtaugh (Mel Gibson and Danny Glover) return as the L.A. cops taking on Chinese mercanaries. Joe Pesci and Rene Russo are back, as well as newcomers Chris Rock as Detective Lee Butters and Jet Li as Wah Sang Ku. Li is a bad guy, who took it to Riggs and Murtaugh near the end of the film in a tag on one fight. All the action scenes throughout the movie, you can easily see Gibson's double (an extremely younger guy) doing mostly all the work, but then again, Gibson is not in his prime anymore. In the chase scene and car chase scene, that same double is easily recognized when Riggs is running up and down the stairs, falling off a building, and the fight with the chinese guy in the trailer truck. Besides all that, this sequel is full of thrills, comedy and action. |
