this is one of the greatest movies ever made. it has the best looking and most talented young stars of the 20th and 21st century taking us through a tale of love, sex, betrayl and revenge. Sarah Michelle Gellar shines as the rich bitch Kathryn Merteuil, gorgeous Ryan Phillipe plays her one-track minded step-brother Sebastian Valmont and his now wife, Reese Witherspoon plays the virginal headmasters daughter and Sebastians quest, Annette Hargrove. Many people may find this just another teen movie with a predictable ending but I think this has such fine acting, comedy and unbelievable bitchiness that it deserves an Oscar!!! Well worth watching.... over and over!!!!!!!!!! |
