ok so this movie's been out for awhile and i finally saw it on cable. I want to state..Spacek should have gotten an Oscar nom for her perfect portrial of cold war mom...so nice to NOT hear her speak w/ a hick accent...and of course, yes Walken can do comedy VERY well..refreshing to see him and her in a role that actually puts him/them in a time they both lived thru as kids. Hey, as for Fraser...well, this is just another tarzan movie isn't it?? Silverstone was cute, she's been doing comedy since her days w/ Aerosmith, so no stretch there. The zoned-out hippie of the malt shop?...perfect, been there. |
