This comedy works off of a familiar premise that I've seen before, a mob boss needing a therapist. This particular version works because of the mob boss (Deniro), the shrink (Crystal) and his wife (Lisa Kudrow). Kudrow is great. There are funny scenes that make this film work better than the others with the same premise. I don't think this film works with any other actors in those roles. I'm not a Billy Crystal fan, but this role suits him. Robert Deniro is making a living mocking his tough guy image over the past few years.
