If you have ever been offended by a film where you thought it was too graphic, too sexual, or too violent against women... pass by this and rent Shrek. If the thought of a zipper-mouthed man in a studded leather thong has no appeal for you, then this is probably not your kind of movie.
This is one of the better Nic Cage movies in terms of acting, but I feel that the story is such that the subject matter should have never been covered in a main stream film. There are some topics that push the envelope too far. If you disagree, this movie might change your mind.
If you like this film I suggest Quills, Cape Fear, and American Beauty. |
