I can't think of any other film with a better story/plot line. You think it's going to be a detective story, and after that you really don't know anything, except it really isn't a detective story. The subject matter is grim, and part of the dark underbelly of our society is looked at in graphic detail. Good acting is rarely found in an original or immaginative film, but you get both here. I would guess this to be a cult classic over time. It took a lot of guts to make this film, as lots of people are sure to hate it for the dark content. |
