This movie was horrible - I was misled by the commericals thinking this was a comedy and it definitely was not a comedy. So depressing, so pointless. What a waste of money. I should have asked for a refund! Do not waste your time.more»1 of 1 people found this review helpful-

Please bring old fashion chic flicks back to the screen. Trust me, I am NOT the only chic with …more»1 of 1 people found this review helpful-

Charlize Theron and Oswalt were outstanding in their roles, but the movie itself was poorly written and directed. Actually, it had no direction. It just meandered through someone's life that she had scripted only in her dreams and delusions. It …more»1 of 1 people found this review helpful-

The problem with this film is that the ending is rather anticlimactic. The main character keeps scheming and plotting in an effort to have the situation turn out the way she wants, so the tension keeps building throughout the film. However, despite …more»0 of 0 people found this review helpful-

It's a brilliant film. Yes, the character is flawed and it's not a turn around hollywood ending, but that's what makes it so brilliant. The acting is superb, and award worthy. People don't like it because they don't like being uncomfortable, …more»0 of 1 people found this review helpful-

The acting is ok. That is about the only positive thing I can say about this movie. You can't sypathize with the main character. It's a comedy, but I was never even half tempted to laugh. The movie borders on dipressing. No action, no suspense, …more»0 of 0 people found this review helpful
