Year of the Dog(2007)- User Reviews

Showtime gave the movie 3 stars and said it was a comedy. It was neither of these. The best line was from the brother of the PETA inspired lead actress when he told his sister "You have betrayed our trust". He and his wife (who were very weird suburbanites) had entrusted their two precious children to the aunt to take care of. A huge trust betrayal took place. If you were to believe what was going on in this film, the need for counseling for the main character by a professional was evident . If this is how PETA folks get their start , it makes for a scary world. The film would be better labeled by Showtime as a 1 or 2 star movie and as a drama on how domestic terrorism evolves.
