For awhile before the movie was to be released I had made up my mind that I wouldn't waste my time and money to see it. Firstly was the reason that it was a videogame movie, and my prior experiences with this genre was that these movies almost always stunk. The other reason I was not going to see it rested solely on the fact that Disney made it. In my opinion, Disney has pretty much made junk for at least a decade.

So it was released and my brother went and saw it, and he liked it so much he wanted to take me out for my birthday. Three times I turned him down, and then gave in...yes, he kept bugging me about how great it was.

Long story short, I found the move to be nothing like Disney, and nothing like the cheesy videogame-based films of the past. It had depth to it (something unlike Disney). Actually, it felt a little like Pixar co-developed it.

I've seen the film four times over the last month. Don't let box office totals fool you! I'd recommend seeing this in theaters at least once!
