I have the '81 version on DVD and I loved it. I've loved Myths for years and years. I saw the '10 remake and I was very unhappy. Wasn't very much 3D and I'm going to wait to see this on DVD or blu-ray.

    @ Floyd
"I've been a fan of the Titan's story since the original, but let's face it, it's not an accurate interpretation of Greek mythology. So I'll suspend my disbelief for one movie. Zeus' brothers minion is tossing Zeus around like an ordinary human? Impossible. Even in fantastic fiction, you have to stay within the fantasy rules. Only a Vulcan can do the neck pinch and nobody screws around with Zeus. The best anyone ever did was to go behind his back or trick him. Already not believable."

HONESTLY, WHAT IN HOLLYWOOD IS EVER ACCURATE??

I absolutely agree! You did not mess with Zeus and only Hercules, is strongest of the demigods ever attempted to rebel and go against his father, and even then he did not openly go to war with him, and later became a god himself in the mythology of Greece. This movie is an absolute waste of time, and in no way follows the true form of the Greek Mythos.

This movie does not respect mythology in any way. Greek gods were not like super heroes measuring strength. Hades was considered to be a well balanced God and not the representation of evil. He was a passive god and Zeus allied

The idea was that they were losing their strengh due to lack of prayers, which I thought was a clever idea. That could easily explain why they don't exist today.

What's with all the crappy movies out lately. This one is just another remake of a remake of a remake. I get it Hollywood loves greek mythology..as if these God's were real or something. Mason morons.

If Hollywood is going to make a movie after something in mythology then the least they can do is keep true to the myth surrounding those characters. Zeus was not someone you messed with and even though Hades and Posiden were always at each other, they never battled each other like they do in the movies. Zeus was the father of most of the gods in the Greek Patheon to begin with, so they were all loyal to him; even Hera, who many shows in Hollywood seem to want to put at odds with Zeus, which was NOT true at all!

When was the last time this generation read anything from the prime sources? If you did, you would find enough "stuff" to fill the screens for the next 20 years - that's the sorrow of it all - the myths are incredible!! - too bad - the actors are more than worthy, etc. Hey, Hollywood?, how about it? Some truth in lending??? Like go to the library and check it out - Edith Hamilton's accurate renditions are passable too! but the real stuff can be the greatest origin of imagination any of you guys ever saw!!

Dude, it's Ares, not the astrological sign Aries. Should I take this into account in evaluating your review?

would be nice if there is a better story than what I saw last night ....? scenes of violence that increasingly make the saturated. nice picture but the story is complicated !!!
