Ellen Page fan since Juno. Eve, Drew Barrymore, Juliette Lewis, Marcia Gay Harden, and Jimmy Fallon made for a great supporting cast. I love the small-town girl lives big dream story. Finding love on her own terms, finding herself on her own terms, and looking good doing it. I also liked that the movie editing didn't waste time exploring unnecessary parts to the story; everything was relevant and applicable, down to the music, scenery, and dialogue. It was good to see the versatility of the actresses Barrymore, Lewis, and Eve, because this is not the type of movie I would have normally seen them cast in. I would like to see Ellen Page stretch her talents, however, as I feel that she's done this part before (Juno). She understands and clearly and accurately portrays a teen discovering more to life than the existence she's known. Other than Inception, I haven't seen what else she's capable of. Would like to see something more comedic or more dramatic, but definitely different. Typecasting is real and I don't want to see her limited. Overall, this movie was a feel good movie. I did tear up at the end, when the Holy Rollers won and her family was outside in the vending area purchasing gear/photos. :)
