Loved the book, so much wanted to like this movie. But it was too slow and depressing. It was a short book and it might have worked if the film was only about 40 minutes long. But the intervening part with the wild things was too slow and uneventful.more»

Spike Jonze's adaptation of Maurice Sendak's classic 1963 children's book of Where The Wild Things Are is easily one of my favorite movies. I love how Jonze took the children's book and transformed it into something raw and real.
