I really liked this movie! I wouldn't say it was a "5 star" film, but it was exactly what was advertised: a romantic comedy with some small scares inbetween. Most of the story was genuinely funny & the characters were pretty likeable. There were a few slightly ridiculous plot holes, but it's easily forgiven.
Ignore the reviews from the belly achers crying over how it wasn't like the book. People need to understand that film is a totally different format than a book & this isn't some widely known book to begin with. So really, who cares if this supposedly wasn't like a book? It was was funny with a lot of heart & a little bite!! Even my boyfriend, who was skeptical, said he enjoyed it & we laughed quite a bit throughout it. I'd definitely recomend it!
