My 13 yr old daughter talked me into seeing this movie. I am not a fan of Zombie movies but after watching the trailers, I was convinced enough to give it a shot. I was VERY surprised at how good it was. I loved the story and the way it was presented from the perspective of "R" , the lead character (Zombie). I was engrossed from the first scene. As others have said, it was a very good movie for date night, but equally good for younger teens and parents alike. There are, of course a few scenes with Zombie violence and the Skeleton Zombies are a bit scary, but it is PG-13 and the violence is pretty tame compared to most movies with that rating. There was a message in this movie that was not preachy at all, but it was obvious. The lead actor who played R reminded me so much of a young Tom Cruise. (in looks only) Any actor that can show the humanity of a Zombie is doing pretty darned good. I would HIGHLY recommend this movie. We left the theatre hearing everyone talk about what a "feel good" show it was.
