I think the value of this movie depends on why you're going to the movies in the first place. If you're looking for basic entertainment, it is a decent way to spend an evening and zone out with light humor after a long week of work. If you go into the movie wanting to see a cute love story with occasional laughs, then it's worth the ticket price. If you're looking for something really scary, or deeply thought-provoking, or side-splittingly funny, maybe check out something else. There is this Romeo and Juliet allegory that is kind of fun, and (if you like analytical thinking) you can make many deeper sociopolitical connections (about war, immigration, relationships, etc.). But you don't have to do any of that. You can just sit back and enjoy some light, fluffy entertainment.
