This is a great, John Ford type movie, with special effects that "do not attempt to tale away from the story line" of the movie. It is rightfully nominated for best picture of the year. The scenes of Ireland are breathtaking. An outstanding movie score by Williams and the acting is excellent. This movie, as a historical drama, also will give young people a picture of WWI that many of them would need to know about, especially in this age where people are so uninformed on important topics such as history. The movie has great meaning and will teach young people important values that many in our society have forgotten.

Great Family picture that will really pull at your heart strings.

Again, a wonderful movie!
