War Horse(2011)- User Reviews

This is a movie that should have NEVER been made. Anyone who loves or cares about animals should not see this movie. We all went to grade school. We all know about the horrors to the animals and people in the first World War - or for that matter, in all wars. We know about the the cruelty, abuse, terrible treatment of the animals, the suffering, the injuries, the killing, and death of the animals during wars, but we sure do not need to see it depicted in graphic detail. It's images will be impressed in our minds for the rest of our lives, especially the children that view this movie. For Spielberg, and all the others associated with the production of this film, to make money off the terrible things that happened to these animals is absolutely despicable! If he and the rest of those people making money from this film, have one ounce of decency in their bodies, they should donate every penny they make from this film to animal protection. It is a travesty that this film was ever made and all the past great films Spielberg has made are wiped out be his stupidity in making this film. He has disgraced not only himself, but his parents (they should have done a better job of raising him), his wife and children, and the huge amount of people that have given him great praise in the past. He truly is a despicable person.

I saw the film two weeks ago but waited until I cooled down so that I didn't write a scathing review of this film.
