Waltz with Bashir(2008)- User Reviews

Waltz with Bashir is supposed to a documentary but once the premise is revealed, it might as well be one of the most imaginative first-rate thrillers ever constructed. Ari is veteran with a problem: he's been having vicious nightmares and has no idea why. To add onto that he has little or no recollection of his time during his time in the Lebanon war at all. So Ari begins his journey to find his friends and slowly begin to piece together the truth. Waltz is a tad hard to get into with its 'flash comic' looking style of animation but once it gets going its not hard to get hooked at all. The story is full of suspense and excitement and the interest of finding out what happens next is never abandoned. It's not for everyone, but Waltz with Bashir is definitely worth the experience.
