I have never been a fan of movies which meander about and has no purpose. This was a pure disappointment for me as I was expecting something enlightening.

First, there was a narrative, which was almost pointless as it wasn't from the heart of any of the characters. The dull and often meaningless narrative did little to enhance the movie. In fact, it was as if the narrative was directed at little kids, explaining the scene as it went along.

Movies are meant to be visual experiences, if a director cannot convey the emotions on screen, then he's failed as a director.

The acting was generally average. There isn't any extraordinary about it and even the love scenes were forgetable.

Visually, Barcelona has some pretty great sets. Aside from that, the story is hardly believable.

Lastly, the whole story is suppose to explore the passionate side of human nature, but Woody seems to have forgotten this and taken a more mental approach, needing to justify the plot through a narrative and boring screen dialog.

The plot starts with an interesting twist, but fails to capture the passionate nature of the characters.

If you're looking for a passionate and emotional roller coaster of a movie, this isn't it.
