My favorite for many reasons

I own the dvd for the film, and have played it repeatedly. Because of the beautiful scenes around San Francisco, the beautiful scene at the rocky seashore near the mission, the giant Sequoyays (sp)(?),the music score by Bernard Hermann,(who directed the music for the "Twilight Zone" the tv show's first year), the superb acting by James Stewart and Kim Novak, and the story itself, I never tire of seeing this film. To me, this well-structured movie has to be Hitchcock's top masterpiece.
Scotty (Stewart)can be kind and/or rough and temperamental. Madelaine and Judy are two totally separate entities, and Novak does a very capable job at portaying both. See and enjoy the movie.
