Truthfully, I found the first have of this movie moderately decent. The story line was slow but kept my attention.
But what really destroyed the entire movie was the character of Reese Witherspoon. I couldn't stand her from the moment she was introduced. Her character is manipulative and flirtatious to the point where she dismisses the feelings of her husband. She is insensitive and a complete horror to watch. As the movie progressed through the climax, I wanted to shoot her character.
Her husband is a decent man who stays with her through his love.
I would not recommend this movie to anyone unless I truly despised them and wished them to suffer as much as I did.
