Typically I enjoy "period pieces", but this one was poorly told and dismally acted. The story was told in a choppy and disjointed fashion, Reese Witherspoon never aged in the movie even though approx 19 years passed, you never felt any compassion …more»1 of 1 people found this review helpful-

The reason this would make a great date\chick flick movie is because of all the twists and turns that happen throughout the movie. With every scene you get just a little bit closser to the main charictar and you also get to see how her past effects …more»0 of 0 people found this review helpful-

This is the only time that I've watched a Reese Witherspoon movie, and been disappointed by the performance. If there's any doubt that she could have played the real Becky Sharpe, just watch Election. It was really a missed opportunity by a …more»0 of 0 people found this review helpful-
