His gowns are so beautiful and the process and the lifestyle and the tempermant it takes to keep new/fresh ideas flowing is extraordinary. This is truly amazing! I love fashion and Valentino is one of my favorite designers, so I loved this movie! It has great clothes, big egos, and gives the viewer an insight on the fashion world. About a third of the way in I said to me-self "Who cares?" There are a lot of things this movie could have illuminated. There's a lot in the reality of Valentino that could have made for a compelling story, but that's all just left out. …more»8 of 8 people found this review helpful-

This was truly about a genius, and his love for his passion, designing clothes that made women look and feel beautiful!
It's also very sad to know after he retired, there will never be anyone who can replace him.
