Like a "Dallas" re-run,the movie tells of 3 generations of small town southern goings on and how families prey upon one another.
A married business tycoon with a wandering eye and his matronly 3 times divorced mother run a vast empire and do on-going battle for controlling interest. In her spare time the matron and her blk friend,a cafe waitress take time off and go on a road trip in a convertible,ala "Thelma & Louise",before time passes them by.
Who know Kathy from "Misery" could be so drawling southern and comical.
Grade C+ for cool comedy
