    This is the remake of the 1968 John Wayne classic, though this version follows the book more closely. Jeff Bridges does an outstanding job as Marshal Rooster Cogburn. He is gritty and mean. Hailee Steinfeld is perfect for the role of Mattie Ross.  …more»
