    Good story and acting. A remake worth watching. Brings a little more 'grit' to the story. The young newcomer really chewed the scenery with her performance. Jeff Bridges and Matt Damon deliver stellar roles also.more»

    Probably more realistic than the original and overall acting was better but neither one was a great or particularly memorable movie. But if you love westerns, I feel both are worth watching.more»

    Good adaptation of the novel, with a Coen brothers twist. Bridge's Cogburn might be just as good as Wayne's, but Maddie is the heart of this story. The young actress who plays her should have a great future in the talkies.more»
