To me, the 2011 remake of "True Grit" was largely a disappointment. I realize that most of the other reviews are very favorable, and for what it is worth, I wanted to enjoy this movie because I liked the original, and also because it is a western. …more»0 of 0 people found this review helpful-

Probably more realistic than the original and overall acting was better but neither one was a great or particularly memorable movie. But if you love westerns, I feel both are worth watching.more»0 of 0 people found this review helpful-
