The movie wasn't just about baseball, it was about much more than that! Eastwood, Timberlake and Adams were all great! It had corny unrealistic parts as most sports movies do, but overall it was a tremendous story. I highly recommend this movie!
The movie made a good point overall in that with all the technology advances in sports scouting such as computers, the internet, smart phones, etc creating new stats that supposedly project a prospects worth, old fashioned scout methods of watching the players play can still work the best.
