The movie keeps your attention but at the same time it felt like it was dragging along. The story was fine (and scary to consider that such an attack could actually happen in real life in the U.S.). The twist at the end was good. However, I think Don Cheadle and Guy Pearce weren't the right actors for the role. Pearce did not come off strong and Cheadle was not convincing as a Muslim. Cheadle is a great actor but I think his role should have gone to an Arab actor to make the character more believable. Unfortunately in this day and age the image of a terrorist in the minds of most Americans is an Arab. It's very unfortunate and shows how much more we need to learn, but that's the way it is... The movie is worth a watch but it was only at 50% of its potential. The Kingdom is the best movie I have seen in the terrorism genre as it appears to portray the subject matter, cultures, etc. quite faithfully.
