Tooth Fairy(2010)- User Reviews

I'm a little embarassed that I didn't see the movie until just recently, a year after it came out, but I thought it was great! It's been on ON DEMAND, so I've watched it a few times. Don't listen to the critics - I usually don't pay attention to what they say because most of the time they are wrong. I am very surprise at how poorly they rated 'Tooth Fairy' because I thought the script was well written, the movie was entertaining, the comedy between some of the characters was very funny, and ALL of the actors interacted well. My 21 year-old niece told me about it and said she and her friends went to see it and had a great time and walked away feeling good about it. One of the reviews I did read from a critic said that in order for anyone to 'get it' (understand what the movie is about) is that the person would have to be at an age where s/he still believed in the tooth fairy. This sounds like a personal problem to me and that I 'got it' right away. Any person with even half a brain 'got it' so I don't know where this guy is coming from. Even the title, "The Tooth Fairy" pretty much points you in the right direction of what the movie is about. And in my opinion, the story-line was great. The 7-minute conversation Dwayne Johnson has with Billy Crystal is classic - You learn everything about what Billy Crystal (and his life) is about! The movie is aces!!!
