It's hard to imagine this screenplay could make Le Carre's storyline - an exceedingly over-rated author whose writing is tedious at its best - even more confusing. What a jumble of confusing edits, loaded w/ dull, rambling scenes that do nothing to engage/enlighten viewers. Excessive use of pointless scenes w/ Gary Oldman reflecting that do nothing to advance the story. Zero effort to enlighten or engage viewers w/ the key characters. Very poor effort. Don't waste your time.
